Pullman Bali Legian Beach launches “Nature of culture” by Kadek Puja Astawa artist exhibition

ART & COLLECTIBLES

As part of Pullman brand’s global art initiative, Pullman Hotels & Resorts in Indonesia have been creating timeless experiences for guests by blending elements of local interest, intriguing culture and visual ingenuity, through the discovery of different art forms.

On 3 May 2018, Pullman Bali Legian Beach will launch its first Artist Playground exhibition, titled “Nature of culture” by Kadek Puja Astawa.

Born in Singaraja, Bali. Kadek Puja Astawa has always been captivated by the beauty and timelessness of still images. This fascination has led him to immerse himself in the world of photography to capture precious moments through his lens. Puja Astawa showed that photography allows us to reminisce and enjoy precious moments that occur in our daily lives. Details of these images can be captured in a glimpse of time through feelings and moments.

Puja Astawa considers himself an ‘all-rounder,’ photographer who is willing to adapt the demands of photography. Human interests and landscape photography remained his two favourite fields. He understands that everyone displays a unique body language with their own natural traits and if paired with well-conceived lighting can captivate a form of visual art.

Contemporary art becomes a connecting thread that links artists and guests from far and wide. Pullman Bali Legian Beach aims to connect art experience with photography, fashion and food. The exhibition gives guests staying at the hotel an opportunity to immerse themselves in each artist’s cultural environment.

The exhibition will be displayed until October 02, 2018.
