Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta achieved a gold medal as the 1st winner with the highest score in the Archipelago Indonesian Set Menu Class of The 2nd LaCuisine Competition 2018.
Run by the Association of Culinary Professionals (ACP) a member of World Association of Chef Societies (WACS) in collaboration with PT KRISTAMEDIA PRATAMA, the event was held at the same time as SIAL Interfood Indonesia 2018 at the Jakarta International EXPO Kemayoran on November 21st – 24th 2018.
SIAL INTERFOOD is the world’s largest food exhibition network with 50 years of experience and the leading food and beverage exhibition in Indonesia. This event was attended by many 5-star hotels in Jakarta and there were several universities participating in this event. A number of experienced qualified WACS certified judges also participated on this competition. The 2nd LaCuisine Competition have endorsement from WACS as National Competition. There are 17 Classes to be compete this year and the objective of this event is to bring Indonesian Food into next level and to maximize the skill and creativities of all chefs in Indonesia. In addition, Archipelago Set Menu is a new class for this year, collaborated with Jakarta Hotels Associations (JHA).
