Guests looking for different ways to enjoy the romance of Valentine’s Day with loved ones can now celebrate and cherish memorable moments at Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong on 14 February 2015 with a range of specially created menus and goodies.

To impress loved ones, guests can choose the exquisite Raspberry and White Chocolate Mousse Cake from Déli Kool on the mezzanine level.  With layers of raspberry purée, white chocolate mousse and white sponge cake, this one-pound heart-shaped Valentine’s special is priced at only HK$280 each and available throughout February.

Offering views of Victoria Harbour, Angelini is renowned for its elegant splendour, contemporary Italian cuisine with an authentic taste and its unrivalled service in a modern and relaxing ambience.  It is an ideal venue for this romantic occasion.  Between 13 and 14 February 2015, guests can enjoy a six-course dinner for two with two complimentary glasses of Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut NV for HK$3,388 or with four glasses of paired wine for HK$4,188.  The set dinner features Blue Lobster with Oscietra Caviar; Reversion of Veal with Tuna Sauce; Homemade Tortelli filled with Potatoes, Clams and Pesto Sauce; Medallion of Monkfish filled with Sun-Dried Tomatoes and Romanesco Cabbage; Roasted Veal Fillet, Jerusalem Artichokes and Stewed Fennel; and Hazelnut Ice Cream with Chocolate Mousse. 

Famous for its traditional kaiseki, Nadaman offers couples a relaxed evening and luxurious Japanese dining.  Chef Kojima and his team have taken great care to create a special Valentine’s Day eight-course kaiseki set dinner for two with two complimentary glasses of Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut NV priced at only HK$2,488 on 13 and 14 February 2015.

A Valentine’s Day set menu at the Michelin two-starred Shang Palace is perfect for couples looking for a meal with a tempting Oriental touch.  Priced at only HK$1,688 for two people, the menu highlights Chilled Marinated Abalone with Black Truffle served with Chilled King Prawn and Lily Bulbs in Passion Fruit Sauce; Winter Melon Ring filled with Bird’s Nest and Sea Urchin in Supreme Broth; Pan-Fried Waygu Beef with Wild Mushroom served with Crispy-Fried Waygu Beef Cheek in Teriyaki Sauce; Braised Inaniwa Noodles with Scallop Dumpling in Lobster Sauce; and the Shang Palace Trio of Desserts that includes Strawberry Glutinous Rice Dumpling, Milk Pudding with Coffee and Avocado, and Baked Custard Puff.  Complemented with two glasses of Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut NV, the special menu is available on 13 and 14 February 2015.

For a family affair, diners might regard Café Kool’s Valentine’s Day themed international buffet as the ideal choice.  For one day only on 14 February 2015, the restaurant’s international team of chefs will prepare flower-infused cuisines, such as Saffron Seafood Soup, Rose Custard, Osmanthus Braised Beef Brisket, Potato Lavender Au Gratin, Amaranth Aromatic Baked Pumpkin and Tempura in its six open kitchens.  An array of chocolate desserts, including Freshly Baked Chocolate Fondant, and Crepe Suzette filled with Berry and Chocolate Sauce, is also on offer to delight children and grown-ups alike.  Buffet times and prices are as follows:

With views of Victoria Harbour and the Hong Kong Island skyline, Lobby Lounge provides an ideal place for guests to relax comfortably and enjoy live music with their special someone in a classic and elegant setting on Valentine’s Day.  On 14 February 2015, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., guests can indulge in a lavish Valentine’s dinner buffet spread with a Valentine’s special drink at HK$398 per person.  The dinner buffet highlights a selection of sushi and seafood on ice and a range of Valentine’s Day specials, such as Honey and Lychee Shooter; Curried Heart-Shaped Egg Salad; Osmanthus and Red Bean Pudding; and Love Pistachio Cream Tart.

At Tapas Bar, guests can enjoy a romantic seafood platter in the comfort of the bar or under the stars against a harbour view background on 14 February 2015.  Featuring Boston lobsters, New World oysters, Alaskan crab legs, clams, poached abalones, poached green prawns and sea whelks, the seafood platter is priced at HK$1,288 for two and include two glasses Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut NV.
