After a successful first round , Preferred Golf is pleased to announce the return of the Preferred Golf Fantasy Challenge.
The 2015 challenge is set to take place over the course of 15 select weeks during the 2014 – 2015 PGA Tour season, giving golf enthusiasts 15 chances to win free rounds and overnight stays at resorts within Preferred Golf's growing collection of more than 65 world-class golf destinations, as well as one five-day, four-night golf trip grand prize.
“In its first year, the Preferred Golf Fantasy Challenge attracted more than 3,200 members to participate and play each week. It was exciting to see golf enthusiasts engage with our collection and add friendly competition into the game by creating sub-teams with family members and co-workers,” said Casey Ueberroth, President of Preferred Golf. “The challenge is designed to bring golfers around the globe together to make the tour season even more fun, and, more importantly, open the door to new travel opportunities. We have curated amazing prizes for 2015 that will take winners to legendary greens that every golfer dreams about.”
To play in the second annual fantasy golf challenge, registered Preferred Golf members pick their top five golf professionals and rank them in order from No. 1 to No. 5 for each match during select 2015 PGA Tour tournaments, starting with the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-AM on February 9, 2015 and concluding with the TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola on September 21, 2015. Members earn points based on how well their selected golf professionals score each tournament.
Prizes from renowned golf resorts will be awarded to each tournament's best-performing member, with getaways such as:
Week #4 (The Masters Tournament) Prize: Two-night stay in an elite room, F&B supplement for two people, one round of golf for two on each of the resort's “The Links” and “Teeth of the Dog” courses, and roundtrip airport transfers at Casa de Campo in the Dominican Republic
