The Star Sydney is gearing up to serve a heart-warming spread of delicious food and wine specials this winter.

Truffle specials | 7 June – 6 August

Indulge in prized Australian truffles at The Star Sydney's signature restaurants Sokyo, Balla and BLACK Bar & Grill, or treat yourself with a truffle pizza at Pizzaperta this winter.

Balla
Enjoy an exquisite four-course truffle degustation at one of Sydney's favourite Italian restaurants, created by Balla's Executive Chef Gabriele Taddeucci. Dishes include cauliflower cream of fontina cheese, focaccia croutons and black truffle ($26); homemade organic durum wheat tagliatelle served with black truffle, butter and reggiano ($36); roasted guinea fowl wrapped in pancetta, porcini mushrooms and black truffle ($48) and sweet raviolo filled with ricotta, orange peel and truffle honey ($15). Dishes are available for lunch and dinner individually, or four courses for $120 per person, plus matching wines for $40 per person.

BLACK Bar & Grill
Treat yourself to decadent truffle specials and the best in waterside dining at The Star's contemporary Australian grill, BLACK Bar & Grill. Executive Chef Dany Karam has prepared three seasonal dishes featuring truffles to accompany BLACK's extensive menu of more than 14 premium cuts of Australian grain, ration and grass-fed beef. Specials include pan-fried scallops with chestnut cream, bacon, apple and truffle salad ($39); grass-fed Angus fillet with Yorkshire pudding, foie gras, smoked potato, shaved truffle ($65); and Jerusalem artichoke crème brulee with truffle ice-cream ($27).

Sokyo
Flavours collide at The Star's signature Japanese restaurant, Sokyo, where Executive Chef Chase Kojima enriches the flavours of Tokyo with fresh black truffles. Specials include Chase's Toro Toro sushi featuring toro (tuna belly), uni, crispy nori and truffle ($20); asparagus and wild Japanese mushroom toban with shaved truffle ($50); and grilled whole John Dory served with scorched lettuce, creamy ponzu topped with shaved truffles ($70). Pizzaperta
Relax at open-air pizzeria and bar, Pizzaperta and devour a fresh truffle and fontina cheese pizza, cooked to perfection in the wood-fired oven ($35), and match with Italian cocktails or wine.

Crab Month at Harvest Buffet | 1 – 30 June
Delight in Crab Month at Harvest Buffet this June with gourmet crab specials, plus all your usual favourites. Specials include Singapore blue swimmer chilli crab; Linguini with spinach and crab meat; Crab and prawn ravioli; Corn and crab chowder; and stone crab claws with crab shack mustard. Available from Monday to Thursday for lunch ($39.90 per adult and $22 per child) and dinner ($48.90 per adult and $22 per child).
